At the moment the only topic everybody is talking about is Corona. But I want to push away the negative vibes and let you dream a bit. It is better to do a “to-travel bucket list” for after this time than to complain about the virus and just get a negative mood. This is why I want to share a few travel spots and my experiences and recommendations with you!

Activities/sightseeing spots:
Teatro Romano di Trieste
In the middle of Trieste`s City center you can find an old Roman amphitheater. Unfortunately you cannot enter the theater, but you can see the most important details without entering it.
Castello di Miramare
A while outside of Trieste`s center you can visit the Miramare castle. In my opinion the castle is worth it`s entrance price. If you should visit the castle, do not forget to take a walk in the beautiful castle garden! You can even take a break in the garden`s Café and get something to drink or eat.
Castello di San Giusto
This castle is a completely different type of castle compared to the castle of Miramare. Here you can visit the huge inner courtyard and many rooms, like the armory etc.
KZ Risiera die San Sabba and little Berlin
In Trieste you can visit an old concentration camp and it`s museum. Also you can visit little Berlin, which are old tunnels for protection during the Second World War.
Swimming in Trieste
Trieste offers a lot of opportunities to swim. For example close to the Miramare castle there is a long beach line.
My personal opinion/ summary
Trieste is a great city to visit in summer! Here you can enjoy the sun and the water. When you are here for holidays do not forget to visit the Miramare castle. It is definitely worth a visit, in my opinion. On my trip to Trieste Miramare castle was my personal highlight!
