At the moment the only topic everybody is talking about is Corona. But I want to push away the negative vibes and let you dream a bit. It is better to do a “to-travel bucket list” for after this time than to complain about the virus and just get a negative mood. This is why I want to share a few travel spots and my experiences and recommendations with you!
No.5: Amsterdam
Activities/sightseeing spots:
House of Anne Frank
This museum is telling the story of the holocaust victim Anne-Frank. In this building Anne and her Jewish family hid for around two years. Anne wrote all of her experiences during this time into her diary.
Heineken experience
You can book an interactive guided tour in the brewery of Heineken in Amsterdam. Of course a tasting is included!
Paleis op de Dam
Here you can learn about the king`s palace. In earlier times it was used as a town hall.
Museum
The museums in Amsterdam have to be a topic for itself, because Amsterdam has so many of it. Most of them are connected to art. Of course you can also find some dealing with other topics.
Boat tour
A recommendation from me is it to go on a boat trip on the canals of Amsterdam. You have a lot of possibilities; you can book a tour or drive by yourself with a pedal boat!

My personal summary/opinion:
I have been to Amsterdam now for two times, but both of the times I visited it for a day trip. The city itself is unbelievable beautiful and especially in summer you can spend a great day here walking through the little streets, visiting the shops and of course taking a boat on the canals. But for me it seemed like you can`t spend a longer time here, because of too less activities. But maybe that is just my personal opinion, because most of the tourist activities are museum, which I don`t really like.
