In July, Trbovlje Youth centre hosts a group of 5 Italian students on an Erasmus+ KA01 VET practice project called “BRIGHT – A bridge between digital competences and cultural heritage across Europe. Meet the participants 🙂
All right, tell me a bit about yourself.
I’m Adam, I come from Macerata, a city in the middle of Italy and I am a 17-year-old student at the local scientific high school. I’ve been here for a week now and love it! Trbovlje is really interesting and different from my hometown and it’s a nice change of paste: I love all its history and culture that I found out about during this week, and I’m sure there is still a lot more. The hills are taller than the ones around Macerata and they are full of trees and nature: they are breath-taking, and the air feels a lot cleaner here.
And what are your hobbies?
I like realistic sci-fi movies (especially if the topic is time travel), I read fantasy books, I like stumbling on interesting news from all around the world and generally discovering new things; but my absolutely favourite pastime is talking to people, discussing all kids of arguments and sharing knowledge. I think it’s the best way to learn and grow proactively while having a good time.
So, what are your expectations?
I was really looking forward to my Erasmus+ and it is meeting my expectations; I hope that during this month I can grow as I person, learn new skills and gain new knowledge, while also giving something of my own.
