In July, Trbovlje Youth centre hosts a group of 5 Italian students on an Erasmus+ KA01 VET practice project called “BRIGHT – A bridge between digital competences and cultural heritage across Europe. Meet the participants
I’m Ana Maria, I’m 17 and I’ll be staying a month at Mladinski Youth Center in Trbovlje. I live in Italy and there I attend a languages school where the main subjects are English, French, and, last but not least, Chinese. Apart from these ones, I love studying philosophy and literature, but also chemistry and biology. In fact, I’m fascinated by the inventions in the medical and psychological fields.
During my spare time, I usually enjoy reading, watching crime tv shows, discovering new artists and music genres and taking strolls in the forest as I adore getting in touch with nature. Moreover, I have other passions such as photography, travelling, and drawing. People that know me well would say that I’m a determined and obstinate person. I am motivated and I work hard to reach my goals. I am also used to handling difficult situations and I enjoy testing my skills, this is one of the reasons why I wanted to have a working experience abroad. In addition, I have always loved getting in touch with different cultures.
I decided to seize this chance due to the countless opportunities for interpersonal and linguistic growth, and given the advantages that could come in a future working environment. Therefore this experience could help me become more responsible and independent, and allow me to get to know new lifestyles and points of view.
